try the cleaners that have been recommended by the other , if
that don't work rub a wet pumice stone on stains. Make sure you use water
when rubbing, this will not scratch the porcelain tub.
I always use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. You can buy these at
Walmart, and their relatively inexpensive. Just add water to the sponge,
and that is all you use. No harsh chemicals, and they really work. I too
have a porcelain sink, and mine shines like new, after cleaning with one
of the Magic Erasers.
Just a heads up..NEVER mix comet and bleach. It creates a
potentially deadly gas. You are lucky you are here to write in to the web
site.
If the stains are the result of lime scale any mild acid will
take it off (with a bit of rubbing) If it is stained with iron the best
way is to use a solution of oxalic acid - about 1oz. to a gallon of water
and used warm - a bit stronger if the stain is very stubborn. Rinse off the
sink very well as the solution is very poisonous. I use this method for
cleaning iron stained mineral specimens and it never fails.
It is probably rust or iron deposits from the water. I have had
great luck with '' The Works'' tub and shower cleaner.it removes soap scum,
rust,and hard water stains. All you need to do is spray it on and wait 30
seconds then rinse completely.

sinks when we bought our new home.. impressive!
Use Oxyclean. Put just a little water in the powder and make a
paste.
CLR. It stands for Calcium, Lime Rust, and will kill almost any
water deposit stain known to man. It can be bought at almost any hardware
store, as well as K-Mart and Walmart. It come it a gold bottle with the
name CLR printed onit. Try it. It really works.
